Little time left to apply for a WikiConference India 2016 scholarship

WikiConference India 2016 is a national conference which is going to be locally organized by the Punjabi Wikipedia community and volunteers from all Indic-language communities. It is going to be hosted by CGC Landran, Chandigarh Tricity on 5, 6, and 7 August 2016.
This event is going to be a National Flagship affair and a common platform for congregation of all Wikimedians and Free and Open Source enthusiasts to exchange the ideas and have a discussion regarding the challenges, best practices and other views regarding Open source and Education.
The conference is open for participation but scholarships will be given to around 100 Wikimedians from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Anyone who is interested to attend this conference can send their application for a scholarship. The scholarships applications are open till 31 May.
This conference is going to be a showcase of unity in diversity in Wikimedian communities from all around India and other countries will be collaborating for the cause of Free Knowledge.

I am feeling so bad. The conference dates coincide with my college and I would be unable to attend. After attending Wikimania 2016, I wish I could attend WikiConference India. 🙁
