I was part of the “Low-hanging fruit hypothesis” explains Wikipedia’s slowed growth?” research. Thank you for your analysis, I appreciate your feedback (sorry about the organizational mishap!), and indeed would have liked to further quantify deletionism and the tangibility of the “missing articles” list. Our original hypothesis was geared around deletionism creating a negative climate, but initial explorations led us to believe otherwise. Unfortunately this work stalled with the end of the class, but I would be happy to address any comments/questions should anyone be performing related investigation – I believe there is a wealth of interesting patterns to discover by analyzing wikipedias in different languages.
