The two capital letters represent &quot;North America&quot;, &quot;Latin America&quot;, &quot;South America&quot;, &quot;Europe&quot;, &quot;Middle East&quot;, &quot;Africa&quot;, &quot;Asia&quot;, &quot;Pacific&quot; and &quot;Australia&quot;, the codes used for language region in the language database[1].

We&#039;re working on completion of jquery.i18n[2] before we can internationalise the language selector. Have a look at the specifications[3]. Help is welcome implementing them.
