You really do not know anything about the human needs.
I was working 26 years abroad in countries
like Nigeria and Bangladesh over many years.
It is not the money they need from you and us !

Love it. Congratulations. Beautiful pictures, clear text and diagrams, emphasis on the readers and the contributors rather than the board

My one minor quibble is that I would like to see a balance sheet of the non-financial contributions, in the form of edits, tabled out like the financials - gigabytes at the start of the year, number of edits, gigabytes at the end balanced against page downloads, number of visitors, etc. Most of this info is there in the report but I think it bears noting that the financial contributions to the WMF projects are just a fraction of the total donated. How much would the edits cost if you had to pay for them? Likewise the value received by our beneficiaries is not reflected in the balance sheet. How much would they have had to pay to get this info from Britannica or the New York Times?

Over the next few years a new form of non-financial contribution, in the form of outreach by volunteers, is likely to grow. The financials will get more complicated too as part of the donations get routed direct to chapters and part of the expenses get rerouted to them too - WMDE taking on responsibility for developing wikidata for example. An interesting challenge in presentation.
