This got mentioned recently on Foundation-l in another context; I thought it might make a cool display for Maker Faire:

"ps. am I right in thinking that the pic at the top of the page is the foundation’s ceiling?"

- You are correct. :-) That's the Office's ceiling.

"also, I noticed you mentioned that chapters are increasing the ‘on the ground’ presence of WMF, and wondered if you have any plans or ideas for some kind of training / advice for directions chapters should follow (I’m just getting up to speed on the new aussie chapter, and haven’t yet figured out exactly how these things integrate into the bigger picture…)"

- I think that'll be quite clear to them once they become formed officially (the Foundation will tell some people and then those people will tell the members... and so on).

just swinging by in support of this blog, and thought I'd drop a small idea in here too;

You may have seen some of the time lapse video on youtube ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrCQ9dUsfqU ) - I think it's one of the best ways of showing how powerful and immediate a collaborative process can be (but I'd slow it down a bit, and change the soundtrack...!)

cheers for now!,
